Emanuel has experience in various fields from animal science to social science, blue to white-collar industries, and corporate to small business. He has battled and overcame many personal and professional challenges that have shaped his career as a professional of color.
As a Human Resources, Professional Emanuel started to understand the intricacies of professional business relationships and the need to be authentic to self in the process.
Yet through his personal experience and research with hundreds of other professionals of color, he found a disturbing pattern. Emanuel witnessed the cultural and racial barriers set up through systemic racism that seemed to debilitate and constrain the ability of many professionals of color to produce and reach their highest potential.
He also observed a majority of professionals of color either assimilate and lose much of their cultural and ethnic identity to advance or suffer in silence with little growth or stagnant professional growth.
